If You Spent Your Whole Life Thinking Autism was A Disorder.
It's Time to think Again...

Something is shifting in how the world understands autism. It's not happening in a research lab, a clinician's office, or in government policy debates. It's happening around a microphone, through the voices of Autistic people who got tired of waiting to be represented and decided to build something ourselves. The Autistic Culture Podcast Network premieres on 22 June, and you're invited to be there on day one.

This is the sound of Autistic Culture.

Meet the co-founders behind the Autistic Culture Podcast Network — and many of the Autistic creators who stopped waiting for mainstream media to tell their stories and built their own media ecosystem instead. In this live premiere event, we'll introduce our shows, share what drove us to the microphone, and open the floor for questions. Whether you're Autistic, questioning, or just love someone who is, there's a sure to be a show here for you.

What Happens at the Premiere?

  • First episodes, live: Be among the first people on earth to hear clips from the network's new shows. Uncut, unfiltered, and made specifically for Autistic ears.
  • Meet the hosts: Live conversation with the people behind the microphones. Ask them anything. They are just like you.
  • Find your people: Join with other Autistic listeners (cameras on or off - your choice) in one place, all showing up on purpose, on the same day, for the same reason.
  • Be part of history: Podcast networks built by and for Autistic people do not exist yet. This is the first one. You will always know you were there from the beginning.

Autistic Culture Speaks for Itself

And on June 22, It Gets Its Own Network.

The Autistic Culture Podcast Network began with a question that most media companies never think to ask: what if the people who have spent their entire lives being studied, diagnosed, and explained to the world were given a microphone instead?

The network is a collective of creators spread across time zones and disciplines, each hosting a show that explores a different dimension of what it means to be Autistic in the world today. Some shows go deep into clinical systems that were built without Autistic people in mind. Others follow the logic of a special interest into unexpected territory, or sit with the complicated experience of discovering your own identity later in life. Together they form something that has not existed before: a body of Autistic-made audio that treats neurodivergence not as a problem to be solved but as a lens through which the world looks completely different, and considerably more interesting. And here are our newest shows out today:

Hi Friend, I was raised Catholic. Even though I no longer practice, I am still and forever, "CULTURALLY Catholic." Being Autistic works the same way. You do not need a diagnosis to belong to this culture. Take the Autistic Culture quiz and find out where you land. Self-identification is not just valid -- it is how culture has always worked. -A
